What will baby Jett be...

A Boy! Mullen Heath Jett will be here in October and we can't wait! We had a fun day in Success for their gender reveal party! We got their early to help get everything ready. Lily is such a big helper! Her and Nonna made a watermelon baby carriage to hold the fruit.


We enjoyed a picnic lunch prior to the party!


Love these two so much and can't wait to love on Mullen!

We got grit...

And some grind and we still Believe! While it was a disappointing ending, we had a great time celebrating with friends! Ray's ribs were delicious and the beer was ice cold...a win is the only thing that could have made the night better!


I do love how our city has gotten behind the Grizz. At AZ, we believe!

Celebrating 90 Beautiful Years...

I'm behind, but definitely want to document this event...On May 5th we celebrated Grandma Deen's 90th Birthday!  My grandparents have meant so much to me throughout my life and I'm so thankful for the memories I have of them and the ones I still get to make with my Grandma Deen.   We celebrated with a cookout at Aunt Marca and Uncle Mike's house in Cabot.

Sunday Funday

With Layne! We've played and played and played. Now he is sleeping and Ray and I are cheering on The Grizzles (and from the looks of the first half, we need to cheer louder!)

Until the clouds opened up...

Perfect afternoon in Downtown Denver...checked out their farmer's market which was really just a lot of food trucks...





And their Nordstroms and massive REI. We had the best edamame hummus and local brews at the Ale house for lunch.


We then went on the walkway by the river with plans to rent bikes, but the sky opened up so we came onto the hotel to catch the end of the Grizzle's game...


It may not be the Forum, but we have a nice size TV and 2 bathrooms in our Crown Plaza Suite (the perks of work travel)!

Enjoying this beautiful morning...

In Red Rocks. Oh and it was 393 steps from where we parked last night! Felt much better climbing them today in tennis shoes!

Breathtaking...

What an awesome night in Red Rocks...


The Red Rock Amphitheater is Amazing (view from the top)!





but the walk up is not for the weary (thankful I started working out)!


Once we finally get to our seats, it was breathtaking (the view and the hike up).





Zac Brown brought the house down. Played all his hits and some awesome cover songs. The sound was amazing...probably the best!


It got cold, so glad I was prepared with my vest, fleece, gloves, hat and wool socks! It was an all around awesome experience!

Hi from the Mile High City

At H Burger for lunch...Ray's mini strawberry milk shake was amazing!

Well Hello May!

Been a whirlwind of a week...filled with lots of friends, family, GROW, exercising, Grizzle's cheering, Crawfish, 90th birthday celebrating, horse racing, boxing and work! I just realized I didn't take many pics...guess I was having too much fun!
Ray traveled all week for work and didn't get home till Saturday. I got a big promotion at work that I wasn't expecting. I'm now the Senior Category manager for filtration...you read that right...filtration and yes, I have a lot to learn, but excited for the opportunity!
Love the support Memphis shows...just look at the 1st TN building on the drive home after cheering on the Grizz Friday night with friends at Bar Louie!


Mud Island Mud Bugs were delicious!





And the Kings of the Delta were great too!


Today was spent celebrating Grandma Deen's 90th Birthday! More pictures to come of her family party! Grandma with her Great Grands!


I'm ready for bed...too bad we have a 2 hour drive!
