Brooke vs ATandT

Our Internet and our big TV has been very inconsistent since we returned from vacation. While we were gone it did storm very hard, so maybe our house was hit by lightening or maybe as they say...after 5 years everything needs fixing! So the ATT man comes yesterday to 'look' at our internet connection (after about 10 diagnostic phone calls)...all the lines on the outside look good and all is good inside, so we don't have a problem. WHAT? Will you just sit right here and watch me surf the internet, try to upload to my blog...it will go out. Of course it never went out...I was telling my new friend, Brian, that even the phone was static and sounded like a fax was trying to dial in...we call my mom...no static. Reminded me of when I was first driving and my breaks sounded horrible, but when my dad drove it...you got it...nothing was wrong. Finally, Brian decides it must be the modem, so I buy a new one he installs it and all is working, so he leaves and I celebrate because we have internet again! Ten minutes later as I am downloading some vacation pics...it doesn't work. The saga continues...as does my lack of blog updates...

Still Celebrating...

We got home from Jackson Hole at midnight Saturday...we had the absolute best time. I'm in the process of downloading all 300 pictures and will upload very soon, but first let's enjoy some pictures of my family Birthday dinner. Dad boiled us shrimp and mom made my favorite - stuffed shells and homemade chocolate cake with buttercream icing. It was all delicious. Aunt Marca and Uncle Mike were in town, so it was great to have them enjoy dinner with us too.

Lily eyed her favor as soon as she walked in...the cutest cupcakes 'eggs' filled with candy.

She loved helping me blow out my candles and licking the icing off the candles

Yellowstone

We left at 6am for a tour of Yellowstone on snowmobiles! It was awesome (as long as we were going under 50 mph!). Mike was a great guide. Here is Old Faithful getting ready...

Birthday Meals...

Enjoyed the town today...we worked up a giant appetite as we walked the town shops and tubbed down the slopes. So far, Jackson Hole has the best food of any ski resort town...Hands down best Mexican-fresh spinach and chicken enchiladas with chile con queso for lunch at The Merry Piglets. Dinner at The Gun Barrel Gamehouse...I had the most tender Cheyenne Tenderloin and Ray feasted on elk chops, buffalo prime rib and a venison bratwurst which were all tasty. Followed by some homemade gourmet birthday ice cream with chocolate sauce. Good thing calories don't count on Birthdays and vaca! I'll post pics later, but for now this is a place holder reminder post.
