Give Thanks with A Grateful Heart

For some reason this song has been in my head all week. My heart overflows with Gratefulness and it brings tears to my eyes when I think about everything I am grateful for (so this will be short as I'm on a packed plane!!). This year I have really reflected on all the amazing opportunities my life has been blessed with and the values that have been installed in me since I was a child. I have so many and so much to be Thankful for and I pray that my family and friends know how thankful I am to have them in my life.

On another note...Thanks mom for getting up very early to take me to the airport and for bringing me a honey baked ham breakfast roll. Totally made my day. Happy Thanksgiving!

All in the presentation...

I placed an online (shocker...I know) order for some party supplies and on top of the perfectly packaged box was a thank you note and piece of taffy. Seriously it's the little details that get me everytime!

What a super cool, nice, clean city Greenville is!! This waterfall is running right along the downtown and right down from our hotel. Our walk was awesome when snow was falling, but when it changed to cold rain I couldn't wait to get back to the hotel! Ray wants to move here because 'all of his favorite stores have ads in the paper!'

Quick trip to Atlanta

Since Ray has lots of vacation days, he is spending the week of Thanksgiving with his parents! So he would have his car, we ended up driving to Brock and Staci's wedding by way of Atlanta! Enjoyed our quick visit with the Linders! This morning after a delicious breakfast and some play time with Savannah, Torrey and I enjoyed a quick shopping trip to Nordstroms and Nordstroms's Rack! Thanks for having us Linders!

Thanksgiving 1st...

I knew there was a reason Nordstroms was my favorite department store!!

Christmas came...

To Nonna's school today, so to follow tradition Lily went to see Santa! As you can tell she is so into Christmas and Santa this year. Last weekend at Target when she saw the decorations inside she exclaimed "Look Brooke...Christmas came here!". I hear she told Santa she wanted the Hungry, Hungry Hippo game. I believe we loved that game as a child too!

Red glitter...

I'm still finding you everywhere. Last night at Lester some residents from LeBonheur came to talk to the kids about hygiene and germs. Well they had them put their hand in a plate of germs (glitter) to demonstrate how hard germs are to get rid of. Good concept, but I don't think they thought about what would happen when 60 kids had red glitter on their hands!!

While I know this isn't the most healthiest frozen dinner (which is why I limit to once a month) it is my all time favorite and it is so filling I probably Eat less calories in the long run!

Tonight

We had an appreciation dinner for work. Much to my surprise I was awarded an outstanding achievement award for my performance...Ray affectionately calls it my Daytime Emmy!

The rest of the night was amazing...

Two hours of pure enjoyment! Hands down the best jam session (since his last concert of course!). We sold our floor tickets when Ray got suite tickets...which is the way to go! Only song they didn't play was 'The night they drove ol' Dixie down.'. However their version of Crazy Love made up for it. I captured bit of a new song they have coming out this spring called...the day I die...enjoy!

Today

5am: woken by explosion that I later learned was a frozen la croix that is now all over the fridge
7am: rockin parking place at work
7:15: realize my work from Wednesday afternoon didn't save
8:30: three vendor meetings back to back
11:30: excel crashes
11:31: catch favorite sweater and it gets a hole
11:34: assistant quits, but not because of me
11:40: highly upset customer calls because air freshener oil "exploded" in his dash and "destroyed" his in dash stereo screen of his 2012 vehicle
11:50: wife of said customer calls to "tell" me about it
1pm: assistant wants her job back...because of me
1:30: flustered me presents a 1.5 hour meeting
3:30: upset customer refuses to give said air freshener to the claims department
4:30: have meeting to fix earlier drama and have to miss Grow...seriously the worst part of day...
6pm: finally home,but can't decide what to wear
6:45: parked and forgot ticket,so go back home
7:15: in suite....waiting for ZAC!!!
I did notice there was a full moon...here's to a fantastic 11/11/11...
