Last Week...

was our National Sales Meeting at work + it was week 2 of our Thursday Night Supper Club with G.R.O.W., so I was slammed and super excited for a low key weekend!

On Wednesday morning at 6 am, I had to play in a kickball tournament with my category sponsor from the field. I honestly dreaded this tournament from the moment I heard it was replacing golf this year. However, despite the early morning start, I had an enjoyable time. I can't remember the last time I played kickball (and it was funny to see how sore everyone was the rest of the week), but I do look forward to playing it again. It was double elimination and my team only played 2 games (the first game we played the winners of the tournament and the second game was the runners up!).

Home Sweet Home to me...

RH+BM=4 Ever

Five years ago today, we were married on Santa Rosa Beach! I was just looking at our wedding pictures and it is so amazing how I totally have new favorite pictures five years later!

The past five years have been wonderful, but wow it has really aged us (Or maybe that is what happens after you turn 30)...we both look so young in these pictures!

On Saturday, Emily and Megan hosted a surprise 50th Birthday lunch for Ms. Kim. I heard it was fabulous! I hate that I had to miss it...

G.R.O.W. Memphis...

This year the Jr. League has dedicated $54K and tons of volunteers to a new community project...G.R.O.W. Memphis, which is an innovative and holistic program to support, change and stretch the resources of Lester Community Center in Binghamtom. We are doing monthly Saturday activities, a Thursday Night Supper Club and a Pre-K Reading program. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the Thursday Night Supper Club. We will go into the center every Thursday night till May and serve a healthy meal for the entire family and offer programing for both the adults and children. Today, was our kickoff for the entire program. We had a great turnout and it was so much fun. Everyone enjoyed a BBQ lunch as well as a jooker dance lesson with the amazing guys from U Dig Dance Academy...

The kids loved it...especially the guys.

I contacted Tarrik after researching Hip Hop dance in Memphis. He started this organization and does so much to influence children's lives. 3 of his past students did the choreography for Janelle Monae Tightrope music video. Well this video is up for video of the year tomorrow night on the MTV music awards! Now...Dr Dance (on my left) will be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars! Such great guys and I look forward to working with them this year.

'Kids in the Kitchen' taught an excellent healthy cooking class as well as played fun games with the group...they made Apple Boats and Spider Sandwiches...

And as an inaugural gift, the Jr. League presented the center with 16 computers with flat screen monitors and computer support! The computers have all of the school programs on them as well as the Internet!

Here's to a great year with G.R.O.W.!

At the Trolley Stop! The other night when she came to Memphis with Emily and Caleb, she told her daddy she wanted to eat at the Trolley Stop...she knows what's good! So today when dad went to pick her up to spend the night with them, she asked to go to the Trolley Stop for pizza, so of course Ray and I joined them...

The Night Before...

the Wedding turned out fantastic. Everyone arrived on time at the Church...really have you ever been to a rehearsal where that happened? Besides moving the very heavy choir loft out, in and back out (sorry guys), everything went smoothly. I'm still in shock! After all, there were 39 people in the wedding party not counting the parents and grandparents!

In less than an hour, we were finished rehearsing and onto the Rendezvous for a delicious dinner hosted by the Jett's!

Delicious cupcakes that Blayne's mom made...Ray says they were the best cupcakes he has ever had!

Lily really, really enjoyed the ribs!
