Moving fences...
I so look forward to Sunday morning church service on the beach each year.

While we were at church, Poppa took the kids on a morning bike ride!

We made it in time for lunch
At Great Southern Cafe in Seaside. And guess who we found there...Aunt Sherry, Shannon, Molly and Logan! Delicious crab cakes and fried green tomatoes!

While we were waiting to check in our condo, Lily got a lesson in sand castle building from an expert!

Finally got to go swimming...

We ended the night with a delicious dinner at the condo and a late birthday party for Molly and Logan.

Wonderful first day of vacation!

Small town fun...
Suited Ray and I well this 4th of July! Parade, carnival, lawn mower races, delicious BBQ lunch and an afternoon floating on the river! It so doesn't feel like a Wednesday...you think they will believe me if I don't show up for work tomorrow because I thought it was Sunday!

No will power...
Kim knows I love samoas! I made it through cookie season without eating one, but Kim brought me this one today and we split it. Definitely worth every calorie! I hear Walgreens had them for a limited time...I highly recommend them. She shared a thin mint one with someone else and they keep talking about it!

And here is what she looks like
On a tow truck. Definitely the nicest tow truck driver in all the US. All in all the only thing Ray is upset about is that he can't driveway rig the boat tomorrow. As a bonus we got to see a beautiful firework display on the side of the interstate!
Busted...
Axel...oh well, it is the original trailer and it could have been way worse. Thanks to observant Ray who noticed smoke and pulled right over nobody wrecked!

However, under me when I bent down to look was this...I'm sure there are chiggers and everything else out here!

Proud owners
Of a Boston Whaler Harpoon! A bit bigger than Ray thought! Nice owner said he never turned it over, so should be perfect!
Fun breakfast...
With my dear friend Arden! So happy she was able to meet us. Can't wait to come back and visit her in the city! We're passing through Indiana and onto our final destination...

Lily had an idea...
To put her baby brother in the double baby doll stroller at Nonna and Poppa's house. She soon realized she 'Shouldn't have done that!' when Layne went sliding through the front!

Joyful
What a fun way to spend a Monday afternoon...at Lester Community Center for the mural dedication. The mural, commissioned by the Urban Art Institute, has been a year in the making and what a difference it makes on the entire community. The artist spoke about his inspiration as well as how he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer two years ago and how he has been 'living life.'

T Ball Time...
Friday night was Lily's last tball game. I think she really enjoyed herself this year and did quite well!

Deep thoughts...
With Penny Hardaway about our involvement in his 'neighborhood' and his nephew Robert, or as he calls him RT! Not only is Penny a great basketball player, but he's apparently a great golfer as his team came in 1st place at Tunica National!
9 holes down...
100's of Gunshots (either a shooting range or War Reenactment?), 4 lost balls, lots of hydration and one rat sighting...3 hours of fun down and 3 to go!
Phil and Clifton
Lookin good in their hats! Ready to take on the heat at the 2012 AZ Vendor Golf & Gaming Tournament!
Surprise
If you have to spend your Birthday at a work function at least you have coworkers who like to party!! Happy Birthday LaShawn!!
