When I left for my morning run, I had no day lilies, but when I got back...my first day lily of the year had bloomed!! Such a gorgeous morning! Is it possible we are going to hit 99 this weekend?

Easter 2012

Yes, I am behind, but so is life!  After church on Easter, we all went to Emily and Caleb's for lunch with the Jones', a family 't-ball' game, adult egg hunt and a lot of lounging around!  It was a beautiful day and so wonderful to get to spend it with family!  Lily was super excited about her bunny basket from Nonna and Poppa!

Layne was more into his mashed potatos this year!

 Layne and Adam missed this picture.  One was sleeping and the other coaching.  It was a wonderful family fun day!

Well, we actually went to the EACC auditorium to watch Lily and her friends in their 1st dance recital.  Lily was well represented and really did a good job.  She told me she had fun, but she likes t-ball better!

We are all very happy Lily didn't get 'jealous!'  On Saturday afternoon, Emily said Lily was hiding under the table and she asked her want was wrong.  Lily said 'I think I'm getting jealous'.  Emily asked her what she meant and she said...you know when you don't want anyone to see you!

 

My calendar is about to be empty...

Tonight was the last community council meeting for the 2011-2012 year. I so enjoyed serving with this great group of women whose hearts are all around making our community a better place!

Last JL meeting of the year...

Was a very special night for GROW as GROW was named the committee of the year, Rebecca was named volunteer of the year and my sweet committee chairs honored me by sending Kenny(no I don't pick favorites!) to summer camp!

Celebrating 89 Beautiful Years...

After a busy morning, we headed to Cabot to celebrate Grandma Deen's 89th Birthday!  I really think she loved the attention and we loved being with her on her special day!

Ms. Ester joined us for the celebration.  They really do seem to be great roommates!
