Celebration!

In celebration of the completion of the 1st year of GROW, we threw a year end party! We celebrated with hot wings, pizza and an AWESOME and DELICIOUS cake from The Cookie Florist (I highly recommend them). Below Rebecca, Bevan and I smile with Director Casey...Dir. Casey has lead the Lester Community Center since the 2nd day it opened and I look forward to his end of the night 'devotions' each week.

Chad Melon came and took portraits of each of the 37 families

We played a little prize bingo

And got some hugs

Katie with the Urban Childhood Institute came and presented the moms who completed the Better Brains for Babies class with completion certificates

Every participant got a GROW t-shirt to proudly wear for years to come

And this lucky man won the special 'healthy' food door prize

So, so much fun was had by all!
