Bridesmaid Luncheon

Ms. Kim J., Megan, Ms. Kim F., Julie and Ms. Penny hosted Molly's Bridesmaid's luncheon and everything was just wonderful! It was held a Just for Lunch...the location, food and company was perfect! The day was made even more meaningful with the beautiful blessing by Megan and the history of bridesmaids that Ms Kim F shared. Such a special time for us all.

Beautiful table set with yummy cupcakes...Lily couldn't wait, so she had her dessert before her lunch!

The girls of Success smile with Molly!

All the Mullen girls are so excited the time is here!
We were so happy to have Aunt Sherry and Shannon here to celebrate with us!

Cupcake time...they each had a charm with our fortune inside. So fun!

The hostesses gave Molly a 6 pence to wear in her shoe...for health, wealth and happiness!

Yes, Molly really did have 12 bridesmaids, but when I recap the wedding day, you will see that it went beautifully...I was very nervous about such a large wedding party, but everything was perfect!

It's Here....

The day Molly, and the rest of us, have been waiting for and planning since December! The rehearsal went great and the countdown is on...
Molly and dad practicing their walk...

We learned at the Bridesmaid luncheon yesterday that flower girls and ring bearers were added to weddings for entertainment...if the wedding is anything like the rehearsal...there is entertainment to be had. Titus and Lily making their grand entrance!

Part 2 of 2 (or 3)!!

Molly's bachelorette party continued at the Westin, where we all donned our peacock feathers for Molly's Lingerie shower and night out out on Beale...

We had lots of sweet goodies...cupcakes, pink high heal shoes, chocolate covered strawberries, and nuvo....oh my! But no worries, all the calories were danced off when we hit Beale!

Mom, Emily and I smile for the camera!

Everyone laughing as Brooke G. read Molly's thoughts for their wedding night! These girls are too cute!

'Swimming in bows'

Lily helped me make the 'rehearsal' bridesmaid bouquets out of the bows from all of Molly's presents. We had the best time and when it was time to go, she told her mom she was going to spend the night with me!! Too bad, I had to get up and go to work this morning!

Part 1 or 2 (or 3)

Last weekend, Emily and I hosted Molly's Bachelorette Party! We started at Seize the Clay, where everyone picked out a piece of pottery to paint for Molly and Logan. Everyone was so creative and the pieces look great! The Trolley Stop made delicious gourmet pizzas and dad delivered them...I guess I was so excited to eat that I didn't take pictures of the food!
Everyone trying to decide what piece of pottery they want to paint...
Sandra helps Lauren design her zebra/St. Patrick's day plate...Sandra did an amazing Riverside drive scene complete with the bridge on an oblong platter...
Julie and Lynne busy at work creating 4 seasonal house dessert plates...such great detail!
Blayne made the cutest cupcake platter...Loved Elaine's Be My Valentine Plate and Tara's snowman plate was super cute.
Christy hard at work on a three section server with Molly and Logan's initials!
From one farmer to the other...Emily did an adorable tracker plate!

Molly decided to try her hand on a zebra peace sign vase...Jennifer made a Jolly Santa!
Ms. Lisa designed a polka dot egg tray while mom replicated the bride and groom that she painted for me at my Paint A Piece party 5 years earlier!

Betsy and Lindsey concentrate on their hot plates!

Most of the group take a break to smile for the camera...I think a good time was had by all!

Join us for a "Reel" Fun Time!

A few weeks ago, Ms. Donna, Holly and Elaine hosted a wonderful luncheon honoring Molly. It was at the Majestic Grille, which was originally built in 1913 as the Majestic No. 1, a silent picture house that entertained Memphians for three decades! Delicious food, fun atmosphere and laughter was shared by all. Check out the cute invites that Holly painted for the event. You can purchase some of Holly's work at http://www.paintedbyholly.com/.
Everyone decided what they want to eat off of Molly's special menu!

Long time...

no post! Last weekend was packed full with a luncheon and a shower for Molly. Then on Monday, I had the worst pain on the upper right side of my body...which turned into the worst pain with every breath I took. After a visit to the Dr, I had pleurisy (which basically is the swelling of the lining of your lungs). I had never heard of it before, but since I have told people what I had, I have learned lots of others have had it and everyone says the same thing...'I hear it is very painful!' Painful is an understatement, but glad it is behind me...thanks Dad and Molly for taking care of me! Now, I'm working towards a big category kick off at work tomorrow and Emily and I are planning Molly's big Bachelorette party this weekend! Next week, I promise to catch up with pictures, but I leave you with a group shot from the nice luncheon that Ms Donna, Holly and Elaine had for Molly. It was such a good time and the food was delicious!
