Still Wednesday?

We were able to see dad this afternoon at 1,3,5 and 9. With each visit he seemed to be a bit more awake/alert and talking more. They are happy with his progress. He said his pain is a 10.5, but the nurse said this is just a very painful surgery. He looks really good. Thank you to all our friends and family for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming as both mom and dad have a very long recovery ahead.

Also, I can not end today without sing wonderful praises to Baptist East...thank you to the CEO, the staff, nurses, doctors and especially the sweet 'pink ladies' that brought cookies to the ICU waiting room.
